The exquisite Historic Cars taking part in the international field of contestants created an incomparable atmosphere in the environs of Villa d’Este. Everything was sublimely perfect – apart, that is, from the somewhat inclement weather at times.

But that didn’t stop seasoned enthusiasts like you. Truth be told, the venue was brimming with unbounded enthusiasm and we were all fascinated by the many unusual and rare automobiles that we experienced through all our senses. Their beauty as artistic still lives was just one aspect. They were also an inspiration in motion. This was impressively highlighted by the differing sounds of the engines. For the first time, there was even a dedicated trophy for the most symphonically beautiful acoustic effect.
